Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 24 August 2026
We would rather you were on the right plan than stuck on the wrong one. This page sets out exactly what happens when you cancel, when we refund, and how to ask.
Svayam Yoga is a product of BNS Data, Sydney, Australia, which is the entity that takes payment and issues any refund described below.
Try before you pay
Every new account gets a free allowance with no card required - three posture assessments, one live class, one course and one guided drill. We would encourage you to use it before subscribing, because it is the cheapest way to find out whether Svayam suits you.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Manage billing on your subscription page. There is no cancellation fee and you do not need to contact us.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep full access until then, and you are not charged again. We do not cut off access the moment you cancel - you paid for that period and it remains yours.
Refunds when something went wrong at our end
We refund in full, without argument, where:
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- you were charged after cancelling;
- you were charged an amount other than the price shown at checkout;
- a technical fault on our side prevented you from using what you paid for.
If any of these happened, tell us and we will fix the charge. You should not have to fight for it.
Changing plans
Upgrading or downgrading through Manage billing is prorated automatically by Stripe. On an upgrade you pay only the difference for the remainder of the current period. On a downgrade the credit is applied to your next invoice. No refund request is needed.
How to request a refund
Email support@svayam.yoga from the address on your account, and tell us roughly which payment you mean. We aim to respond within two business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank usually takes a further 5–10 business days to post it, which is outside our control.
Before you dispute a charge
If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute, and a chargeback locks the payment while it is investigated - which helps neither of us.
