Shoulders after screen time

Looking at a screen tends to draw the shoulders forward and the head down. These poses reach the arms, spread the upper back, and open the front of the chest.

How to use this

  • Keep the neck long and relaxed in every pose.
  • If a shoulder pinches, make the movement smaller rather than pushing through it.

The poses

Keep in mind

  • This is general information about movement, not medical advice.
  • Move within a range that feels comfortable. Stop if anything hurts, and ease off if you feel dizzy or short of breath.
  • If you have an injury or a health condition, or are pregnant, check with a doctor or a qualified teacher first.
